Nigel Farage has ventured north to Scotland, where he’s been making waves ahead of this Thursday’s Scottish parliament by-election in Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse.

It was expected to be a straight fight between Labour and the SNP, but with support for Reform surging, it’s being closely watched as a barometer of how much support the party has nationally.
Past visits to Scotland have seen Mr Farage forced to flee protesters, but this time it was the media in Hamilton he seemed keen to avoid.
