Will senators pass Russian sanctions?

A US bill that would sanction Russian officials is now in limbo after President Donald Trump threatened massive tariffs if Vladimir Putin can’t make peace with Ukraine.

The bill has bipartisan support and senators in Washington still say they want to see it go through.

Trump told Vladimir Putin to reach a peace deal in 50 days or he would impose 100% secondary tariffs.
