Woman who threw milkshake at Farage sentenced

A woman who threw a milkshake on Nigel Farage during his general election campaign in Clacton-on-sea has been given a suspended sentence.

Victoria Thomas Bowen pleaded guilty to assault by beating and criminal damage at a hearing prior to her sentencing.

The 25-year-old has been given a 13-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months, 120 hours of unpaid work and has to pay the Reform UK leader £150 in compensation.
