The world’s oldest tortoise Jonathan is still alive despite rumours that he had died.

A hoaxer claiming to be Jonathan’s vet posted on X that he had died and was asking for crypto donations.
The post had almost two million views with many people sharing their condolences.
The giant Seychelles tortoise moved to St Helena in 1882 and it’s believed he is 193-years-old.
Jonathan is the oldest living land animal according to the Guinness World Records.
