Israel says it is targeting Hezbollah in its stronghold in southern Beirut. According to the Lebanese health ministry, nearly 2,000 people have been killed by Israeli strikes in Lebanon since September 23rd, 2024.<br \/>\nOn Saturday, French President Emmanuel Macron called for an arms embargo on Israel in an interview on radio station France Inter. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded in a recorded statement, condemning Macron and other leaders who have called for a halt to weapons deliveries to Israel. Netanyahu added: \u201cWhat a disgrace.
