Critics say it puts Gazans at risk by limiting food distribution to specific areas and undermining other relief efforts. <\/p>\n<p>Israel said 170 United Nations trucks carrying food and medicine \u2013 but much less than what the UN says is needed \u2013 crossed into Gaza on Monday. Many of Gaza&#8217;s two million residents still face severe food shortages, after Israel blocked all supplies for almost three months. Israel says its new system is needed to stop Hamas stealing supplies. Hamas has warned Palestinians not to cooperate.
