This comes after US President Donald Trump appointed Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry as a special envoy to Greenland, a Danish<\/p>\n<p>Posting on social media, Governor Landry thanked President Trump and said it would be an honor to serve in this position and make Greenland a part of the United States. The conflict between Denmark and the US over Greenland has been growing.
