He repeated an earlier claim that the US doesn\u2019t use the strait of Hormuz, and said therefore other nations who do\u00a0will have to \u201cguard and police\u201d it. <\/p>\n<p>Writing in a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said that would be \u201can easy military operation\u201d for those countries. <\/p>\n<p>He wrote:  |We are getting very close to meeting our objectives as we consider winding down our great Military efforts in the Middle East with respect to the Terrorist Regime of Iran\u2026 The Hormuz Strait will have to be guarded and policed, as necessary, by other Nations who use it \u2014 The United States does not! If asked, we will help these Countries in their Hormuz efforts, but it shouldn\u2019t be necessary once Iran\u2019s threat is eradicated.
