However, the jury returned guilty verdicts.<\/p>\n<p>Eleanor Donaldson, who faced a trial of the facts and did not participate in the proceedings on mental health grounds, was found to have aided and abetted his crimes.<\/p>\n<p>Her trial of facts tested the evidence but could not result in a criminal conviction.<\/p>\n<p>After deliberating for just over 10 hours, the jury returned to the courtroom just after lunch on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>At 2.15pm Donaldson was asked to stand as the court clerk asked the foreman of the jury to read the verdicts.
