Xi Jinping hosts Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un at massive Chinese military parade

Today the gathering of leaders – dubbed by some the ‘Axis of Upheaval’ – has welcomed a more reclusive guest in the form of the leader of North Korea.

Arriving by armoured train to his first ever summit of multiple international leaders, Kim Jong Un is expected to be given a place of honour alongside President Xi when Beijing hosts a massive military parade tomorrow.
