The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind across England and Wales, as Storm Austen left thousands of homes in Wales and the South West without power.
The powerful winds have caused widespread disruption, including school closures, blocked roads and disrupted flights.
A new ‘danger to life’ warning has also been issued as Storm Boelo heads for Scotland and other parts of the north over the weekend.
