In Gaza, young children waiting for aid at a medical clinic were among several Palestinians killed by an Israeli airstrike.
It happened earlier today in Deir al-Balah in the centre of the territory. Pictures showed the immediate aftermath of the airstrike, and the bodies of several children and adults laid out at a morgue.
Hospital officials said at least 34 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli airstrikes across Gaza since yesterday afternoon.
