The leaders of the ‘Coalition of the Willing’ have stressed the ongoing need for US support for Ukraine in the war against Russia.
They were speaking after a virtual meeting of the group.
Answering a question from Sky’s Beth Rigby, Sir Keir Starmer and Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the support of Donald Trump was key in pressuring Vladimir Putin to the negotiating table.
They also stressed the need for more long-range missiles to allow Ukraine to attack targets inside Russia – "those discussions are ongoing", the UK prime minister said.
