Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was welcomed to Downing Street by Keir Starmer, ahead of Friday’s US-Russia summit in Alaska.
The prime minister greeted the Ukrainian president on the red carpet outside No 10, and the pair spoke in the garden over a cup of tea for about an hour.
Neither of the two leaders answered questions from reporters, but following the meeting, a Downing Street spokesperson said in a statement that the pair discussed Wednesday’s meetings and had a private breakfast.
