Sir Keir Starmer is hosting Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Downing Street later this morning. It comes after Donald Trump threatened Vladimir Putin with "severe consequences" if he doesn’t agree to a ceasefire.
Zelenskyy, Starmer, and European leaders held a call with the US president yesterday in which they agreed that no decisions should be made about Ukraine without Ukraine, and that the first step should be to press for a ceasefire with Kyiv.
