Ukrainian president Volodymr Zelenskyy is to speak to US president Donald Trump next week about the US-led peace plan.
There was no let-up in Russian attacks overnight and five people were killed in a drone strike on Zaporizhzhia.
The 28-point peace plan was drawn up during negotiations between the United States and Russia and involves concessions that would be difficult for Ukraine to agree to.
