Ukraine’s president will travel to Saudi Arabia this week, Sky News understands.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy could arrive as early as Tuesday evening, but has no plans to meet with Russian officials, a source said.
It comes as US and Russian diplomats prepare to hold talks in the capital Riyadh.
Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov and US secretary of state Marco Rubio are among those set to be involved.
