With a hosepipe ban coming into force for the southeast of England, gardeners are being urged to prepare for summer water shortages now to avoid a repeat of last year’s parched and dying plants. A great way to do so is to add some “drought-tolerant plants” to gardens that are not in need of “excessive watering”, according to one expert.
