Britain delays Russian whitefish sanctions as struggling chippies fear surge in prices

THE GOVERNMENT has delayed plans to impose sanctions on Russian whitefish but has denied reports the planned tariffs on Russian whitefish have been cancelled after struggling fish and chip shops and industry experts raised fears over the cost to Britain’s seafood sector.
