Chris Brown ordered to pay $12.9 million to housekeeper mauled by dog

The R&B singer Chris Brown has been ordered by a court in Los Angeles to pay his former housekeeper $12.9 million after she was attacked by a dog at his home in 2020.

A jury ruled in favour of Maria Avila, who said she was left with serious injuries.

Brown said that the dog was kept for security reasons and wasn’t his personal pet.
