The cost for drivers to drop-off passengers at UK airports has risen by a third since last year according to new figures from the RAC.
London City now has the highest rate per minute. The five busiest – London Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Stansted and Luton – insist drivers must pay online or by phone before midnight the day after using the drop-off zone or they could face a fine.
Only four airports didn’t increase their fees this year – Liverpool John Lennon, East Midlands, Belfast City and Southampton.
