Violent sex offender Paul Quinn has been sentenced to 21-years in jail for the rape of a woman more than 20 years ago – which saw another innocent man wrongfully convicted.
Andrew Malkinson spent 17 years in prison for the 2003 attack in Little Hulton, Salford, until new evidence proved he was innocent.
Quinn, 52, evaded justice for more than two decades but was found guilty of two counts of rape, one count of choking with intent and one count of grievous bodily harm after DNA technology linked him to the crime.
