Sir Keir Starmer is fielding questions across the dispatch box for one of the last times as prime minister this afternoon.
It’s after he promised that Britain will "build an army that is 10 times more lethal" as he launched the government’s long-awaited defence investment plan on Tuesday.
The prime minister announced that the Dip will provide an additional £15 billion, which is £1.5 billion more than was promised to former defence secretary John Healey.
The plan was originally due last year, but had been held back amid a row within government over the amount of funding, which eventually led to Healey’s resignation last month.
He is also likely to face questions about the likely handover of power to Andy Burnham later this month.
