Festus Akinbusoye has launched a strong challenge to Sadiq Khan’s record on London’s crime crisis, accusing the Mayor of failing victims and warning that the capital cannot be policed with a shrinking police force.
The former police and crime commissioner, who hopes to become the Conservative Party’s candidate for Mayor of London, joins Will Kingston on Fire at Will to discuss London’s policing, grooming gangs, social cohesion and the future of Britain.
Akin also sets out why he believes London needs tougher policing, more officers and a renewed sense of national pride, and why he insists Britain’s best days can still lie ahead.
Could the Conservatives win back City Hall? And what needs to change to make London safer?
