Earl Spencer, the brother of Princess Diana, has published his memoir, titled Swan Song: Diana, My Sister. It includes several allegations about the King in the aftermath of Diana’s death in 1997 that have since triggered controversy. In response to some of the claims, Buckingham Palace said in a statement: "The pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory in ways others do not recognise."
